Another week
Well, Vimeo video did not work, my Sampa site does not cater for embedding widgets yet so look at my Blogger or Ning site for Vimeo videos. (Click on one of the blue links). This week has been largely uneventful, some classes, some visitors and some house looking. Mei has wanted to buy an apartment for some time but has not really found what she would like in her price range, so we have decided to move to Hangzhou. It is said to be the most beautiful city in China, it is built around lakes and islands and has many canals running through it, and also has the reputation of having the most beautiful women in China as well, so I guess I will go along with it. Mei does have a very good friend there and her son is the head of tourism for the whole province, which includes Shanghai, and his wife is the head of the Tourism school there and wants me to go and teach conversational English, and maybe do a few classes at home. So we are selling all our furniture and will go down there in the next two or three months. I hope we can buy a Chinese courtyard house with a small garden and maybe do it up, apparently they are a bit cheaper and the locals like the new homes. Unusual weather, up to 18 or 19 degrees at the moment, very dry and windy. Last year we were still having snow and had the biggest blizzard in 50 years. Interesting catching up with all sorts of people on Facebook, including the Cavanaghs. Keep your comments and emails coming in, great to hear from you all and to those in the virtual rugby competition, catch me if you can.
